The secret of this amazing fishery is that it receives the outflow of the fish hatchery. This water is cleaner and more highly oxygenated than that found in the river. In addition, this regular flow provides a stable environment and it is choked with food.

While it is loaded with big trout, it can be intimidating. Our guides have decades of experience teaching youngsters the secrets to success on this mystical stream. We have a simple, short line approach that is easy to learn and can achieve amazing results.

No previous fishing experience is necessary and we provide all tackle and flies. We have waders available to fit most anglers at no additional charge. Let us introduce your children to the quiet sport.

P.S. Bring your camera. This is where dreams are made!

Hands down the best trout fishery in Arkansas, the United States and possibly the world is Dry Run Creek. Located at the base of Norfork Dam and adjacent to Norfork National Fish Hatchery, Dry Run Creek is the oldest, best established and most successful Catch and Release trout stream in Arkansas. It has been set aside for children under sixteen (no license required) and the handicapped (an Arkansas handicapped license is required). There is no fee and the stream is open from sunrise to sunset. The stream is absolutely teeming with trophy trout.
